You trigger

Hold the in-app SOS for 3 seconds, or press the button on your Safe-Alert ring. A short cancel window guards against mistakes, then the alert fires. A Safety Check-in that you don't confirm escalates on its own.

Your circle is alerted — in seconds

Every trusted contact gets an SMS plus an app push with a live map link, typically within 10 seconds. SMS goes out over multiple Nigerian routes for redundancy. Your location keeps updating while the alert is open.

Partner responders

Where the partner-responder pilot is live (currently Lagos and FCT), a nearby verified responder is notified and can accept. Partner responders are trained volunteers, not emergency personnel. Safe-Alert does not dispatch police or an ambulance — call 112, 199 or 767 for that.
